Countdown to Identity Crisis

Addicted to the melody each one is a new story

2nd therapy session

For the love of the melody expressions of my personality and release of my frustrations I’m addicted to music. The chords drums and baselines bring rhythm to my life and voice to my creativity. Perform it live and find the greatest joy to be lost in the moment step off stage and receive the love from the people and they let you know you got through to them. There’s no genre’s only musical interpretation if you have the gift and share it properly the gift will bless you back. A God given voice or poetic rhythmic words that tell stories over the beat with heart and soul is pure form of music. True artist and musicians paint on blank canvas as soon as the vision is seen. Connected to the heartbeat of life knowing when to express a life for the party or speak about the grim reality we all have a purpose within the melody. Don’t get overwhelmed confused or stress in this let it flow. We all have a place with many rooms to cater to our many emotions we all experience an Identity Crisis time to time.

  1. Now after reading this alot of people would understand why Nas said hip-hop is dead because artist were not being themselves and just followed a trend that was sellin at a particular point of time. Like D4L, DEM FRANCHISE BOYZ and some others that i cant remember now i am not hatin i mean do what you do but if you look back in the day at how hip-hop was, it was treated as a voice for those who were struggling in the inner cities wheather young or old who didn't have a voice. Also at the same time MC's would get respect on how talented they were on their use of metaphors similies and story telling. Just like a blank canvas an artist should be able to paint a picture in a person mind and get their point across. Not do a dance instructional video lol anyway my point is artist like Michaelangelo Picaso Frida Kahlo and other well known painters would paint a portrait and use distorted figures to show their pain or bright colors to show joy and thats how i look at music.
